At Bill Identity (bid), we believe Black Lives Matter. We raise our voices against the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery. These are not isolated incidents; they are the result of systemic racism that exists on a global scale.
We recognize that our work must be intersectional and include the goals and values of racial equity movements such as Black Lives Matter. We are deeply moved by the responses thus far in our Philadelphia, London, and Melbourne communities, and we stand with all protesters and organizations working to combat racial injustices around the world.
To support our Black, Indigenous, and People of Color communities, bid is making a commitment to the following:
- To match all donations by our employees to organizations working for meaningful change until June 30, 2020,
- To consistently evaluate our hiring practices and the ways in which we can promote the diversity of staff and ideas in all of our offices globally, and
- To continue to challenge discriminatory beliefs and assumptions.
We hope that these can be the first steps in our ongoing effort to confront structural racism in all its forms.
